There is no shortage of podcast content on the internet, which brings the problem of discovery. While there are a lot of good productivity podcasts out there, it is hard to keep track of the ones that provide good value.

In this blog post, we will look at some of the top active productivity podcasts for 2022.

Before we move ahead with the list, we want to let you know about Routine's own productivity podcast called "The Productive Minute," that you can now listen to on iTunes, Google Podcasts, and Spotify.

We will take our productivity podcast out of the equation to ensure neutrality. With that out of the way, let's jump in.

Beyond the to-do list by Erik Fisher

On the podcast, the host (Erik Fisher) has conversations with productivity practitioners and experts about how they practically implement strategies and methodologies in their professional and personal lives.

They have a very active publishing schedule, having published over 400 episodes when writing this post.

Some of our favorite episodes are:

The Tim Ferriss Show

Having featured prominent & diverse guests like Ray Dalio, Bill Burr, Naval Ravikant, and Malcolm Gladwell, to name a few, this podcast hosted by Tim Ferriss is one of the most popular podcasts of all time.

The podcast is not strictly about productivity, even though most of the conversations eventually lead to "how can I use this information to make my life better?" moment.

Some of Tim's interviews with athletes and entrepreneurs are riveting and full of value. Here are some of our favorites:

The 5 AM Miracle with Jeff Sanders

The podcast is positioned as one that will help you dominate your day before breakfast. Run by productivity junkie and plant-based marathon runner - Jeff Sanders, the podcast has a consistent posting schedule and has about 440 episodes as of 11th May 2022.

Jeff has hosted personalities from various domains, including John O'Leary, April Rinne, Jeff Brown, etc.

Some of our favorite episodes include:

Happier with Gretchen Rubin

Operated by writer Gretchen Rubin, the podcast explores ideas beyond just productivity but also into happiness, work/life balance, mental health, etc.

With over 350+ episodes on the main podcast, the content is consistent with high-quality episodes that are easy to consume. Many episodes refer back to key pointers from Gretchen's books which is great. There are tons of topics and methods discussed like GTD, the Ivy Lee method, etc.

Some of our favorite episodes also happen to be pretty recent:

Achieve Your Goals with Hal Elrod

With over 400 episodes, Hal Elrod's podcast delves into content around getting more done, creating a lifestyle you want, and achieving goals that you set for yourself.

While the guest list is not as extensive as some of the other podcasts discussed in this post, it more than makes up for it with the quality of its content.

Here are some of our picks if you want to start listening:

The Productive Show

Produced by Asian Efficiency, I discovered this podcast only last week, given that they have some of the more impressive guests in their lineup.

The core subjects of the podcast deal with ideas around goal setting, time management, personal development, and efficiency. With close to 300 episodes published, there is a lot of value to be unlocked here; plus, they have a very consistent upload schedule, which is always a big positive.

Here are some of the episodes that I found helpful:

The ONE Thing with Geoff Woods

The podcast is branded as an exploration of simple truths behind extraordinary results. Many of the episodes delve into practices and methodologies used by successful people from various walks of life.

The podcast has been running for a while now, and close to 350 episodes have been published. The publishing schedule of the podcast is very consistent, and the quality of their content is on par, if not better than most entries in our list.

Some of our favorite episodes from the ONE Thing podcast are:
