This release includes updates and upgrades, ranging from our Windows and macOS M1 versions to the Google Workspace Directory integration.

Add multiple accounts to Routine

You can now connect more than one account to Routine. To connect additional accounts, head to Settings, then to the General section, and click "+ Add account," and you should be good to go.

Routine now on Windows and macOS M1 devices

If you have been waiting for a Windows version, your wait ends here. As part of this update, we launched our Windows version, which is being rolled out to users as you read this.

And to further improve accessibility, we have also released our M1 processor version for macOS.

Go ahead and spread the word ;)

Google Workspace Directory Integration

If you use a Google Workspace (business) account, you can now import your contacts from your Google account.

To activate it, go to Settings and Integrations.

Thousands of Zapier Workflows

You can now use Zapier workflows (Zaps) with Routine allowing you to create thousands of valuable automations.

To make things easier, we have also created a step-by-step guide on getting the most out of our integration with Zapier.

Other important updates

  • You can now save your recurrent tasks in any object's notes, which could be in a task, an event, a person, or a page.
  • On Routine, now you can move a task to another parent simply by opening a task and using the "…" menu to access the Move to action. Similarly, you can also export your tasks using the "Export" option.
  • You can also change the calendar of an event (regular event or task allocation)

What's coming next?

Our primary focus right now is performance and stability. However, we do have some plans regarding:

  • We have been using our iPhone app internally, which we feel is a significant step forward for Routine, and we hope to present it soon.
  • Improved UX & UI changes to create and edit events/meetings instead of using the console.
  • Supporting recurring events.
  • Event notifications to seamlessly join calls.
